Proprietor - Mark Thomas
I am now in my 20th year of being here at the Hanging Gate. I love my job as much today as i did back in 1991. I have a fantastic team and every day I realise how lucky I am to be pursuing my dreams!

Proprietor - Samantha Thomas Sammy has been here for six years now. We have recently got married and together run the Hanging Gate. I am very lucky to have Sammy by my side and love the fact that I get to work with my wife everyday.

Assistant Manageress-Danielle Shore
Danni has been with us for 8 years now and is currently working as our Assistant Manageress. She has excelled in every department, and is a great asset to the team. Working with Danny makes my life more stress free and is always a pleasure to work with

Head Chef-Stuart Walker
This is Stuart's second spell with us, He was with us as a chef in his younger days, but went off to broaden his horizons. Happily for us he's back as our Head Chef. He is a great chef and his sense of humour can get us through even the most stressful of shifts! Without doubt the best chef I have worked with in my 20 years of being here.

Tony Connor - Chef
Tony has recently joined our happy team of chefs.He comes to us with vast experience and we feel very lucky to have someone of tony`s talents and expertise working with us.

Lisa Pearson
Lisa has been with us for 8 years now and has done every job possible. She has exceptional catering qualities and we are really proud to have her as one of the team. With being so laid back and calm all the time Lisa is someone that everybody loves to work with.

Keely Oldham
Keely has been with us for 7 years and her lovely nature and people skills make her a hit with all our diners. Keely is currently excelling in her ‘meet and greet’ role and is the face you all see on your arrival. She is very professional and dedicated to her work.

Jemma Storie
Jemma has been with us for 2 years now as part of our waiting on team.She is a very popular, bubbly girl who is always very keen to learn new skills,and is undertaking each task with enthusiasm.

Christopher Ruff-
Chris has been with us for 2 years now, He is already excelling as part of our waiting on team.He is a very polite well spoken man,who goes that extra mile to make it a warm and welcoming visit here at the hanging gate

Elyse Thomas
Elyse is our most gorgeous girl! She is 13 years old and has the vital role at the Hanging Gate as our colouring competition co-ordinator. She also helps Daddy in the office.
